The Fedustria Design Tour

The Fedustria Design Tour in California in 2025 commenced at the impressive showroom of our member Tribù, followed by visits to outstanding showrooms featuring the innovative collections of Royal Botania, Umbrosa and others, highlighting the creativity and craftsmanship that define Belgian design.

The day concluded at our member CINEAK luxury seating, where Minister-President Matthias Diependaele and FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade CEO Piet Demunter were in attendance. The Minister-President Matthias Diependaele delivered a compelling speech underlining the strength, quality, and international reputation of Belgian design and furniture.

This final day provided an excellent conclusion to a successful mission, emphasizing Belgium’s continued commitment to innovation, collaboration, and design excellence.

FROM BELGIUM TO THE BAY | TBS DESIGN GALLERY -CALIFORNIA, 2025

Led by TBS Design Gallery VP Liana Nitsetskaia, From Belgium to the Bay brought Belgian design and manufacturing into direct conversation with California’s architecture and design community through an evening dedicated to design, innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration.

Hosted at TBS Design Gallery in partnership with Fedustria, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), and Renson, the program featured a multidisciplinary panel with leaders from architecture, landscape design, manufacturing, and Belgian industry, including Jonathan Feldman of Feldman Architecture, Sarah Warto of Boxleaf Design, Maxim De Vriese of Renson, and Karla Basselier, CEO of Fedustria.

The event showcased leading Belgian brands including Royal Botania, Renson, Heatsail, Umbrosa, and Reynaers, creating direct engagement between Belgian manufacturers, delegates, and the Bay Area architecture and design community.

The evening also marked the announcement of Belgian Design Days 2026, building upon TBS Design Gallery’s Memorandum of Understanding with Fedustria and advancing a growing platform for Belgian design, industry collaboration, and cultural exchange in California.
